Oil Spill Response Equipment is installed on PSV "Vladislav Strizhov"

Within the period of 20 to 22 September, 2012 in the port of Murmansk Oil Spill Response Equipment (OSR), manufactured by «Lamor» company, was installed on PSV "Vladislav Strizhov".

The board members, including representatives of “Gazprom Neft Shelf” LLC, “Gazflot” JSC, “Ecoshelf-Baltika” JSC and the supplier participated in trial start and checked quality and technical characteristics of the installed equipment.

Following the results of work the board has decided that the equipment is ready to be used for oil spill containment and oil recovery.

The multifunction platform supply vessel (PSV) "Vladislav Strizhov" was built in 2006 in Norway. The power of the main engines is 27 200 HP.

The list of OSR equipment installed on PSV “Vladislav Strizhov”:
- Heavy marine booms «HDB»;
- Heavy marine oil-spill boat for surface oil pick-up (winter season);
- Diesel-engine drive unit for hot washing;
- Hydraulically actuated air blower for booms.
