Special forum on software innovations

11. Nov. 2010 | [Group,Maritime] | GL Maritime Software will be holding a forum on "Advancements in maritime software for safe and efficient ship operations" on the 18 November 2010 in Athens. With computers continuing their conquest of modern shipping specialised software becomes more and more important. Computerized fleet management as well as maintaining loading, staff and maintenance lists are standard procedures nowadays. To keep ship operations up-to-date and increase efficiency, shipping companies can be supported with newly developed IT-applications.

At the forum GL-experts present their new software in lectures and follow-up discussions. The programmes range from effective ship and maintenance management systems to applications based on hydrodynamics that will help to make shipping safer. Recently developed business intelligence software that delivers detailed information on fleet-performance will also be shown.

The forum will take place at Metropolitan Hotel from 5:30 pm. Interested ship owners and managers are welcome to participate and find out more about innovative technologies.All presentations are held in English.
