ABX, which is currently operated by a line of shipping carriers including China Shipping, K-Line, PIL, Wan Hai and Yang Ming, covers North China, South West Asia and the Black Sea area with eight of 4,000TEU ~ 4,250TEU class ships offering a competitive transit time of 26 days from Shanghai to Constanza. Hanjin Shipping will be participating in the service starting from middle of May. As for TLS, Hanjin Shipping will place a third vessel into the service, currently operated by Arkas Line and Turkon Line, each partner deploying one of 2,000~3,000Teu class ship. This new service will link Port Said and Piraeus to Turkey and Levant regions offering a weekly service starting from April 25th. Using Port Said and Piraeus as transshipment hubs, TLS service will cover all major Turkish ports in addition to Lebanon and Egypt so as to fulfill customers demand in the area. Meanwhile, in prior to these lanes, Hanjin Shipping launched ADN (Adriatic) service in early April as part of the companys strategy to build presence in the area.
