Hanjin Shipping to expand service network in West Australia

WAX (West Australia Express) is currently operated by K-Line, Hanjin Shipping’s partner of the CKYH Alliance, under the name of WASCO (West Australia Container Service) with two of 1,700TEU class ships sailing between Singapore and Fremantle. Hanjin Shipping will be participating in the service by securing vessel slots while launching a new agency to promote sales in the region.
Hanjin Shipping comments that with the introduction of this new service and an agency they will be able to cover both East and West Coasts of Australia broadening their network in the region.
Currently, Hanjin Shipping is operating two services to Australia, AUS (Australia Service) and CKA (China – Korea – Australia).
