Black Sea Feeder – Launching a New Service

Referring to our Customer Info of August 5, 2013, which informed you about the upcoming changes East Asia - East Mediterranean/Black Sea Service (ABX), we are pleased to advise you that Hapag-Lloyd will launch the Black Sea Feeder (BSF), a new complementary and dedicated service directly connecting Port Said with ports in Israel, Turkey as well as Black Sea.

This fixed day weekly service will start beginning of October 2013, covering following port rotation:

Port Said • Ashdod • Istanbul • Constanta • Odessa • Istanbul • Ashdod • Port Said

The BSF service will be operated with two vessels with first sailings as follows:

• MV Mozart ets Port Said - October 3, 2013

• MV Athena ets Port Said - October 10, 2013

The Black Sea Feeder in combination with the rotation changes of Loop 4 of the G6 alliance will further enlarge our opportunities to cater for your shipment requirements from North Europe to Egypt, Israel as well as Black Sea ports and vice versa.
