Sweden Denmark Express (SDX) – New Service

Hapag-Lloyd will launch a new service in March 2014.

We are pleased to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will launch its own Sweden Denmark Express (SDX), a new complementary service, directly connecting ports in Denmark and Sweden with Hapag-Lloyd’s worldwide network via Hamburg.

This fixed day weekly service will start mid of March 2014, covering the following port rotation:

Hamburg • Copenhagen • Helsingborg • Aarhus • Hamburg



The SDX service will be operated with one vessel - first sailing from Hamburg being as follows:

In addition to our existing network, the Sweden Denmark Express (SDX) will further extend our port coverage in the Baltic Sea and links the ports of Copenhagen, Helsingborg and Aarhus via the hub port Hamburg for connectivity to Hapag-Lloyd’s global service network. It further caters for your Short-Sea shipment requirements and all kind of cargoes.
