Hapag-Lloyd adds Swedish port of Halmstad to its service network

Weekly service extends existing Sweden Denmark Express service / Connection via Hamburg and Bremerhaven to Hapag-Lloyd’s global service network

Effective September 7, Hapag-Lloyd will offer a weekly call in the Swedish port of Halmstad. The call will be added to the existing Sweden Denmark Express Service (SDX) and offers a competitive transit time as well as a direct link to the major North European hubs Hamburg and Bremerhaven.

The new port rotation for the SDX service is as follows: Bremerhaven – Hamburg – Helsingborg – Halmstad – Gothenburg – Aarhus – Bremerhaven.

Halmstad is a port city in the province of Halland on the Swedish west coast located about midway between Gothenburg and Malmö.
