As per verbal info, the terminal needs at least 2-3 months to get back to service. Ceyhan Botas Terminal: All operations resume both at Iraq and Azeri lines. Dortyol Botas Terminal: All operations resume both at crude and LPG berths. Yumurtalik Toros Terminal: All operations resume. Airports : Adana Airport: Operating as usual. Hatay Airport: Damage repaired and operating as usual. Gaziantep Airport: Operating as usual. Kahramanmaras Airport: Operations have stopped for the moment for civilian flights. Earthquake in Turkey - Port Update 13 February 2023 A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey, 23 kilometres (14.2 miles) east of Nurdagi, Gaziantep province, at a depth of 24.1 kilometres (14.9 miles). Nurdagi is located along the Turkey-Syria border, and the quake was felt in several countries across the region, including Syria and Lebanon. The earthquake has sadly resulted in many deaths and damage to infrastructure; however, we are pleased to report that we are in constant contact with all our staff, who are all safe, as well as their families. There have already been aftershocks measuring between 6/7 in magnitude, which is also very serious. Local ports status: Iskenderun port: Dry cargo terminals are getting back to service. Earthquake in Turkey - Port Update 10 February 2023 A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southern Turkey, Monday morning local time, 23 kilometres (14.2 miles) east of Nurdagi, Gaziantep province, at a depth of 24.1 kilometres (14.9 miles). Nurdagi is located along the Turkey-Syria border, and the quake was felt in several countries across the region, including Syria and Lebanon. Local ports status: Iskenderun port: All terminals have stopped operations, and damage controls are still underway internally. There is no prospect as to when operations will resume. The roads have also been damaged. There has been an ongoing fire at Limak Terminal for five days in the container storage area, even though firefighting teams are working to extinguish it. Ceyhan Botas Terminal: Partially resumed operations. The first vessel berthed at Botas (Iraq crude line) for loading on the 07th of Feb but the BTC line is still not active for damage controls. Dortyol Botas Terminal: Dortyol LNG terminal is not active yet, but crude operations have resumed. Yumurtalik Toros Terminal: The port has decided to move vessels from the anchorage, and operations have resumed again. Our Mersin office is working as usual.
