JES Secures New Contract To Build 94,000 DWT Bulk Carrier

The Board of Directors of JES International Holdings Limited (the “Company” together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce that, in accordance to Group’s policy of recognizing orders which are effective, the Group has entered into new shipbuilding contract with a Germany customer to build a 94,000 DWT bulk carrier, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Eastern Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (“JEHl”). There is an option for second similar vessel which the order shall be announced later in accordance to Group’s policy. The delivery of the vessel is expected to take place in the year 2014.

None of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the contract.

The contract is not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the Company for the year ending 31 December 2012.

The Company will release further announcement(s) of any material information relating to these shipbuilding contracts as and when it arises.
