Rate increase in the North East and South East Asia
to New Zealand trade

Maersk Line would like to announce a rate increase on our services from North East and South East Asia (South Korea, Russia, P.R. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Philippines) to New Zealand.

The rate increase is necessary to continue to operate our services with the high level of reliability our customers have come to expect from Maersk Line.

* USD 250 per TEU effective from 15 July 2009

The increase applies to all cargo and commodities, including reefers and special equipment.
