Turku - 19.07.2023 Mein Schiff 7 is currently being assembled at Meyer Turku's dry dock, and the ship will be delivered to TUI Cruises in 2024. Building a ship is a team effort from beginning to end. From design to manufacturing, and from logistics to assembly, smooth cooperation between different fields is the key to successful shipbuilding. From the video you can see how MS7's engines were transported within the shipyard, how the engines were secured to the gantry crane, and how the gantry crane operators drive the crane with great precision in order to lift the heavy ship engines safely and securely into place.
