The MES Group 2025 Vision identifies the three domains through which our Group will contribute to society and approaches business with a focus on the needs of society and the market. Through the MES Group 2025 Vision, we outline our ideal situation and identify the main direction our Group will take over the next 10 years. 1. Three business domains (1) Environment & energy We will contribute to the future of a sustainable earth through the effective utilization of ocean resources, energy and waste products. (2) Marine logistics & transportation We will contribute to social development by providing energy-saving and environmental performance, fuel diversity, and labor-saving equipment. (3) Social & industrial infrastructure We will contribute to creating a safe and comfortable living environment by providing the plant facilities and public transportation infrastructure, and the conservation services necessary for infrastructure in Japan and other advanced economies. 2. Our ideal situation To evolve into an engineering team that creates social value. 3. Key strategy and common policy Key strategy : (1) Increasing added value of products and services (2) Reforming the structure of manufacturing and EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) (3) Expanding and enhancing related services Common policy: (1) Promoting cooperation and collaboration (2) Promoting globalization (3) Enhancing technology development 4. Quantitative target Net sales of 1,100 billion yen and a net sales to ordinary income ratio of 6% by fiscal 2025. Our ideal situation is to fully utilize the diverse resources and technology within our Group while also proactively collaborating with new partners to unite in our goal of maximizing the value applied towards resolving the issues and needs of society. This year, the MES Group will use the MES Group 2025 Vision as a platform for outlining concrete goals and the measures necessary to achieve those goals. We will incorporate the MES Group 2025 Vision into our fiscal Mid-term Business Plan FY2017 (MBP17) and the subsequent mid-term business plans.
