22 May 2025 MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeyuki Takahashi ; hereinafter "MITSUI E&S") took the delivery of the module vessel "YAMATO" (hereinafter "the Vessel") from Panamanian corporation, YAMATO MARINE S.A., with the aim of ensuring stable and flexible activity in the maritime transportation for our cranes.
MITSUI E&S has established a Panamanian subsidiary, MES VESSEL S.A., for the purpose of owning the Vessel and its operations management. The operations management of the Vessel will continue to be entrusted to NBP, which is renowned for its expertise in project cargo transportation. With support from NBP, MITSUI E&S will ensure the safety in transporting products and operating the Vessel.

MITSUI E&S is advancing its expansion in the global market of port cranes, particularly in the United States and Southeast Asia, where demand for cranes is increasing, and has considered owning transport vessels for some time. With the acquisition of YAMATO, MITSUI E&S will continue to contribute to our customers' container terminal business through strengthening our business foundation by keeping stable maritime transportation capacity of port cranes.
