The new order resulted from MOL’s reputation for superior performance in completed car transport throughout Asia. The new plant will start manufacturing in early 2010 and will begin exporting vehicles, mainly to Europe, in late 2010. It will also produce vehicles for India’s domestic market. In bidding on overall vehicle logistics operations for the new plant, MOL won contracts for inland transport and yard operation of completed cars for export. These contracts should lead to ocean shipping in the future. The company draws on its wide range of expertise in completed car transport operations in Asia to offer safe, reliable services.
