Turkish Bulk Carrier suddenly released by pirates
Due to some technical problems on board the ship she has been freed and is now being towed back to Mombasa by a ship from Mombasa Port Control. The YASIN C, with deadweight of 36 318 tonnes has a crew of 25 Turkish. It is believed that all crew members are well. EU NAVFOR, who works closely with NATO and CMF in the area, continues to monitor the situation.
