NYK Announces New Japan South China Thailand Service

NYK is pleased to announce the enhancement of its service network through the company’s participation in the new Japan South China Thailand service (Perseus Service).

This new service will commence on March 22 at Laem Chabang and will be jointly operated by NYK and MCC Transport using three 5,000 TEU containerships. NYK will deploy one ship and MCC Transport will deploy two.

The rotation of the Perseus Service will be as follows: Tokyo (Wed/Thu) – Yokohama (Thu/Thu) – Nagoya (Fri/Fri) – Kobe (Sat/Sat) – Hong Kong (Tue/Wed) – Shekou (Wed/Thu) – Laem Chabang (Sun/Tue) – Hong Kong (Fri/Sat) – Xiamen (Sun/Sun) – Tokyo

The Perseus service, together with the current Phoenix service,* will provide customers with more comprehensive coverage and greater service quality. We will continue to make every effort to further strengthen our service network.
