Location: 580, Horikawa-cho Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa President: Koichi Akamine Shareholder: NYK 100% Paid-In Capital: 300 million yen Number of Employees: 157 Date of Merger: July 1, 2019 President Akamine remarked as follows: “The three companies merged today and took the first step as a new Japan Marine Science. By integrating our business resources and utilizing our human resources, technologies, expertise acquired from marine consulting, underwater engineering, seafarer manning, ship-construction supervision, etc., we will continue to make efforts to improve our services in a wide range of fields, including the shipping, shipbuilding, harbor, and energy industries.” To increase efficiencies and create value in accordance with its medium-term management plan “Staying Ahead 2022 with Digitalization and Green,” the NYK Group will continue to strive to fully employ its synergy for sustainable growth.
