Linden Pride Rescues Four Chinese Fishermen in Distress

On June 30, Linden Pride, an NYK-owned LPG carrier rescued four Chinese fishermen in the vicinity of a fishing trawler sinking in the South China Sea. Linden Pride was sailing from Nagoya Japan, to Ras Laffan, Qatar, when Singapore's Port Operations Control Centre received a distress call from the trawler at around 6 p.m. (local time) on the same day. Linden Pride responded by rushing to the area.
At around 8:30 p.m., Linden Pride arrived on the scene and rescued the four Chinese fishermen, who had taken refuge in a life raft.
The rescued fishermen are in good health and disembarked from Linden Pride in Singapore on July 2.
