Odfjell sells ship for recycling

Odfjell has agreed to sell MT Bow Puma (40,092 DWT/built 1986) for recycling, a chemical tanker with coated cargo tanks. The delivery will take place in April 2011.

The vessel has Green Passport, and the Buyers undertake that the recycling yard in India shall submit a working plan corresponding to IMO guidelines for ship recycling.

The sales price is close to the book value.
