OOCL announces Trans-Atlantic Trade General Rate Increase

OOCL would like to advise our valued customers that we will apply a General Rate Increase on Trans-Atlantic services with effect from October 1, 2010. The General Rate Increase will apply westbound and eastbound and be applicable to all container types as follows;

All cargo between Europe and the USA, Canada and Mexico

USD 320 per 20’ container
USD 400 per 40’ container


OOCL announces rate increases on Southeast Asia-Australia services

To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to cater for our customer requirements, OOCL is implementing our revenue recovery programme with effect from October 1, 2010.

Freight rates for traffic from Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East) to Australia, will be increased by USD 300 per TEU.
