24 October 2014 «MB-121» the first vessel of new project. The series of vessels of this type is constructed under the order of RF Navy to perform a wide range of tasks of the Fleet.
On a driver's special monitor "vessel trolley-transporter" displays information about the distribution of the actual load weight vessel with supports on each trolley for prevent overloading. Before launching "vessel trolley-transporter" shifts the ship with supports on the sphenoid platform, which smoothly moves downward by winches along paths to channel for ship launch positioned at an angle of 3 degrees. When platform submerged into the water the ship breaks the surface. Then the ship moves to building berth. The depth of the channel near the full floats of the vessel is 20 m. At the launching ceremony was attended by representatives of the customer and factory workers, as well as the guest of honor: Captain “MB-121” - Grechukhin Yuriy Borisovich. The vessel was sanctified by Churchman Nikolay of the Church of Alexander Nevsky. Assignment • Multifunctional towing of vessels, floating objects and structures in ice and open water. • Supply of marine objects with equipment and materials, transportation of special staff and cargoes, assistance in technical operations fulfillment at remote sea objects. • Rescue operations, assistance of distressed vessels, search, rescue, evacuation and lodging of people, delivering of medical aid. • Rescue duties in shipping, marine oil and gas recovery areas. • Firefighting operations at floating and shore objects, firefighting of fuel oil burning into water. • Oil and petroleum content products spill removal. • Servicing in transport operations in harbor, shallow and shelf coastal zones. • Maintenance of underwater technical operations. • Breaking of ice with the thickness of up to 1 m at the speed of 2-5 knots. • Escort operations at the speed of up to 10 knots.
