Rickmers Maritime places 100 million SGD tranche
of multicurrency MTN programme

Today, Rickmers Maritime, a subsidiary of Rickmers Group of shipping companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, has priced a first tranche of the multicurrency Medium Term Note programme (“MTN”).

This first tranche amounting to 100 million Singapore dollar (approx. 57.7 million Euros) was fully placed and is expected to be issued on 15 May 2014. The transaction is subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The notes have a fixed annual coupon of 8.45 per cent and a maturity of three years. Rickmers Maritime plans to use the proceeds for corporate funding (including refinancing of existing borrowings and financing of working capital).

The MTN programme was launched in November 2013. With this programme, Rickmers Maritime has the possibility to raise up to 300 million Singapore dollar to further enhance its capital structure.
