Scorpio Bulkers Inc. Announces the Cancellation of a Shipbuilding Contract

Scorpio Bulkers Inc. (NYSE: SALT) (the "Company") announced today that on March 30, 2016, the Company reached an agreement to cancel a shipbuilding contract for a Kamsarmax bulk carrier that was expected to be delivered in April 2016. The Company has been released of any and all obligations and rights arising out of the shipbuilding contract, including the final installment of $19.3 million.
