Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. Announces the Results of the 2010 Annual General Meeting and the Appointment of Mr. Dale Ploughman As Chairman of the Board of Directors

July 22, 2010 - Athens, Greece - Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SHIP; SHIP.W) announced today the results of the annual meeting of its shareholders held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Company’s executive offices.

At the meeting the following proposals were approved and adopted: 1) the election of Messrs. Elias Culucundis, Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, Dimitrios Anagnostopoulos and George Taniskidis, as Class A Directors to serve until the 2013 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, 2) the amendment of the Company’s Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation to increase the number of authorized shares of common stock, par value $0.0001 per share from 201,000,000 to 501,000,000 shares and 3) the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers S.A. as the Company’s Independent Registered Public Accounting Firm for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2010.

Mr. George Koutsolioutsos, Chairman and Director to the Board, has resigned from his position as the Chairman and Director. Following the annual meeting of its shareholders, the Board of Directors thanked Mr. Koutsolioutsos for his contribution to Seanergy and appointed Mr. Dale Ploughman, CEO and Director, as the Chairman of the Board. Seanergy’s Board now consists of nine members.
