MT Stolt Strength Update on Military Protection and Bunkering Operations
23.04.2009
London, England - April 27, 2009 - Stolt-Nielsen S.A. (Oslo Børs: SNI). Following the press release on April 23, 2009, where we reported that MT Stolt Strength was adrift off the coast of Somalia with limited fuel and without naval protection, we are now pleased to report that the ship has received both supplies and fuel from an American naval vessel. MT Stolt Strength is currently proceeding under her own power to Salalah, Oman, under escort by a Chinese frigate, which will remain in close proximity until they reach port. Once in Salalah the crew will be relieved and flown home to join their families.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the assisting organizations and the American, Chinese and German navies for their help with this difficult situation.
