Harmony of the Seas departs for sea trials

3 days to test mainly her electric power plant and propulsion system

The largest cruise ship ever, currently under construction at STX France shipyard will carry out her first sea trials from Friday, March 10th to Sunday 13th, 2016, with 500 people on board.

The ship will leave Saint-Nazaire at around 5 p.m. helped by 6 tugs. This first campaign will be dedicated mainly to her electric power plant and propulsion system tests as well as to manoeuvrability tests.

500 persons will take part to these sea trials.

The next sea trials are supposed to be held before the end of April.
