March 18, 2014 Tokyo: Nine Chinese crew were missing after their Panama-flagged general cargoship Beagle III collided with the South Korean vessel Pegasus Prime before capsizing in waters near Miura port in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan early Tuesday morning. Xinhua news agency quoted Japanese authorities as confirming another 11 Chinese crew on the Panama-registered ship had been rescued as of 8 a.m on the day. The collision caused damage to the South Korean ship Pegasus Prime but all of its 14 crew were unharmed. Rescue work is still underway.
