Third river-sea vessel for B.F. Tanker was launched

On March 26, official ceremony of launching the third out of 7 tankers built for B.F. Tanker took place at Krasnoe Sormovo plant in Nizhniy Novgorod. The vessel was called “Mechanic Erokhin”.

The construction of oil tankers with the capacity of 5.5 thousand tons is performed within the implementation of the development programme of shipping assets of VBTH holding, the majority shareholder of which is the International transport group UCL Holding.

All in all 22 tankers will be constructed for B.F.Tankers. 15 tankers out of these 22 under the same project are planned to be built starting from 2011 at Okskaya shipyard (part of UCL Holding).

The total volume of investments into construction will amount to 11.3 bln. rubles.
