Only a month after the first serious storm passed, we are now facing another.

At the time of writing, all ports on the English East Coast are closed for port side operation as are Delta, Euromax and APM Terminals in Rotterdam. We expect the Kiel Canal to close at Brunsbüttel from 15:00 hrs today, only opening at 22:00 hrs and several more ports to be affected as the storm draws west. Several of our vessels are currently at ports, ready to leave but cannot due to high winds.

When the storm has subsided, there will be congestion at the terminals as well as in the Kiel Kanal and this will regrettably lead to delays in almost all services.

We apologise for the inconvenience these delays will cause. We will do our utmost to get back to normal service as soon as possible and we ask you to contact our local office for information on specific services. In the meantime, we hope for your understanding of the situation.
