Vanino port turnover decreased by 11%

The turnover of PJSC "Vanino Port" totaled 1 million 819.2 thousand tons within four months of 2011 (makes up 89.0% of the analogous result in 2010). In April the volume of cargo transshipped was 436.5 thousand tons (-24.0%).

From January till April of the current year the stevedoring company has processed 964.9 thousand tons of exported cargo (-6.3%), including 550.7 thousand tons of coal, 55.7 thousand tons of aluminum and 353.7 thousand tons of timber.

The volume of imported cargo was 411.6 thousand tons (+6.1%): 355.5 thousand tons of alumina and 40.0 thousand tons of petcoke.

For the said period the port handled 75.1 thousand tons of coastal traffic cargo – volume of transshipment has decreased 60.7%. 367.6 thousand tons of cargo (-15.4%) was transported over the ferry line Vanino-Kholmsk.

345 vessels (including 180 ferries) and 19.5 thousand of railcars were processed over 4 months of the current year. Container turnover for the period mentioned was 2812 TEUs.
