Fire on Pemex oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico

Mexican state-run oil company Pemex said that one worker was killed and 16 others injured after a fire broke out on an oil platform in the southern Gulf of Mexico.
Pemex said it evacuated 300 workers from the Abkatun platform and it had eight vessels on hand to combat the fire.
