11 July 2011
Divers have found the bodies of more than 100 people, around thirty of them children, trapped inside the pleasure cruiser Bulgaria that sank on Russia's Volga river.
So far 53 people have been officially confirmed as dead from Sunday's tradegy in the republic of Tatarstan. Search and rescue teams worked throughout the night, and a recovery operation continues today.
It's emerged that the pleasure boat was not licenced to carry passengers, with Russia's emergencies minister now saying that there were 208 people on board.
