We are delighted to announce that yesterday, Tuesday 20 January 2015, we acquired MT ST Charlotte.
This 2006-built bitumen/molten sulphur tanker will be renamed Iver Ability and brings the total number of Vroon’s bitumen tankers to twelve.
The vessel is currently on charter to Total for the carriage of molten sulphur and bitumen cargoes. She is operating in the Atlantic basin and, following her delivery to the company in Antwerp, will proceed to Immingham to load a cargo of molten sulphur.
Iver Ability will be marketed and operated from Iver Ships B.V. in Barendrecht, the Netherlands.
We wish the vessel and crew safe and successful operations.
