company in Peru 28 August 2015 The joint venture company - Wan Hai Lines Peru S.A.C. , by Wan Hai Lines Ltd and Transtotal Agencia Maritima S.A. has been formed in Lima, the capital of Peru. The company has also since August 01, 2015 officially run shipping related operation for Wan Hai, aiming to provide more direct and efficient services with customers. Peru not only connects Asia, Brazil and Chile but is also a leading economic entity in the Latin America market. At the same time, it is one of the largest fishery products exporting country with many other natural resources such as crude oil and natural gas etc. In view of the irreplaceable potential and strategic location, Wan Hai chose Lima as her main operational base in the South American routes. “We do believe that this move will reflect a closer knit connection between South America, Taiwan and the rest of the Far East.” remarked by Vice Chairman of Wan Hai Mr. Randy Chen in the grand opening party held on 12th August in Lima.
