Yang Ming Sets up Australia Company - 1st February

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation sets up Yang Ming (Australia) Pty Ltd together with Inchcape Shipping Service on February 1, 2013 to strengthen its Australian market and to win more customers with choice services.

Inchcape Shipping Service used to be Yang Ming’s strategic partner and general agent in Australia. By setting up the new company in Australia, Yang Ming can further enhance its marketing position and provide more reliable quality service Down Under.

Right now, Yang Ming provides two sailings each week between major ports in Asia and Australia, which covers three major Australian ports - Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. They are:

CKA (China / Korea and Australia): PUSAN – SHANGHAI – NINGBO – SHEKOU – KAOHSIUNG – MELBOURNE – SYDNEY – BRISBANE – PUSAN

AAA (South East Asia and Australia): SINGAPORE – BRISBANE – SYDNEY – MELBOURNE – SINGAPORE (linking with India Sub-Continental and Middle East Area)
