June 13, 2011 Zim would like to announce a general rate increase effective July 1st, 2011 in the Asia-South America East Coast trade, as follows: $500/20’ per container (all types) and $1000/40’ per container (all types including Hi-Cube) The rate increase is necessary in view of market conditions and current unsustainable rate levels, and in order to continue to operate our services with same high levels of reliability and service to customers.
