AtoB@C Shipping strengthens hybrid fleet with delivery of Megamar 11.06.2026 AtoB@C Shipping has taken delivery of Megamar, the eleventh vessel in its series of 5,400 dwt plug-in hybrid newbuildings. The vessel was handed over on June 10 and will soon begin its maiden voyage from India to Europe. Built at Chowgule & Company, Megamar is part of AtoB@C Shipping's next-generation hybrid fleet designed for efficient and low-emission operations in the Baltic and North Sea. Equipped with battery technology and shore power connectivity, the vessels enable quiet and emission-free port calls, while ice class 1A ensures reliable year-round operations in northern conditions. The addition of Megamar further strengthens AtoB@C Shipping's modern fleet, supporting industrial customers with flexible and sustainable transport solutions across bulk, breakbulk and project cargoes. AtoB@C Shipping has ordered twelve vessels in the series, with the final vessel, Luxomar, scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2026.
