Powering the digital future Medium speed, gas engines offer a range of benefits. Proven technology in use The 51/60 engine family is a proven technology for power plant projects. With an installed capacity of 8 GW worldwide, it makes a significant contribution to reliable energy supply. The gas version, 51/60G, is H₂‑ready and can operate with up to 25 percent hydrogen. With a start-up time of less than five minutes and an efficiency of up to 50 percent in single-cycle operation, it combines flexibility with low fuel consumption—even under partial load conditions.
