During the transportation quality sessions, information about the situations at individual overseas offices were shared, a quality management manual was created and the current cargo handling procedures were reviewed with the goal of bolstering the quality of our transportation services. The handling of electric vehicles and automobiles powered by compressed natural gas was also discussed. The cargo volume of these types of vehicles has recently been trending upward. During the operation session, the principles of safe operation and compliance with laws and regulations were reconfirmed, and information was shared, including accident response procedures, basic points in environmental actions and examples of improvements to operations at different offices. The policy of making quality at the time of purchasing services associated with ship operations a high priority was reconfirmed, information including examples of successful initiatives at different offices was shared with people around the world, and specific future initiatives were discussed to enhance shared understanding within "K" LINE with the goal of ensuring that the quality of our transportation services remains high. During the sales and strategy sessions and the sessions focused on High and Heavy cargo, growth strategies that will help strengthen businesses were discussed, including the revision of the organizational structure to improve communication with customers engaged in environmental actions and expanding their businesses globally. Through these regular global meetings, the different offices will pursue sustainable business activities by sharing ideals and cooperating with each other.
