We are pleased to announce that we have ordered two Super Eco LR1 (75,000 DWT) tankers at Yangzijiang Shipyard (YZJ) in China.
The specification of the new vessels includes all eco-features to ensure that they will operate safe and efficiently with a minimum of fuel emissions. The vessels are expected to be delivered in Q1 and Q2 2030.
This newbuilding order comes in addition to the two Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC's) that the Company ordered earlier this year at the Hyundai Samho Shipyard in Korea. The VLGC's are expected to be delivered in Q3 and Q4 2028.
The four new vessels are part of the Company's gradual fleet renewal programme and ensures that the Company continues to operate a modern, safe and efficient fleet in years ahead.
